Alex Espinosa was raised as part of a musical family in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was influenced by a wide range of artists in rock, jazz, blues, gospel, flamenco, and classical music. As a child Alex knew music would be the driving force in his life and taught himself to play on his father’s guitar when nobody was watching. He modified the instrument by removing the bottom two strings and lowering the notes by an octave, this is how Alex transitioned into bass guitar.
As a music student at Texas A&M in Kingsville Alex became fascinated by the phenomenal talents of Austin musicians. He then moved to the ATX area to play with the very musicians he had seen on stage and he considered the best on the planet.
Randall Ward, Stuart Millsapps, and Alex have played together professionally for years but decided it was time to share their talents and offer thanks through their first album.
